What is an ACM School Champion?
The ACM School Champion is a key leader in bringing the ACM School Program to life. This individual serves as the primary liaison between the school and the ACM team, ensuring smooth implementation and ongoing success.
The ACM School Champion acts as the school’s point person for all things ACM—supporting program execution, answering staff questions, and keeping momentum strong. While the role carries important responsibility, ACM provides detailed resources, step-by-step instructions, and direct support along the way.
Key Responsibilities
The ACM School Champion is responsible for:
- Leading program implementation across classrooms
- Serving as the primary contact with the ACM team
- Coordinating training, delivery, and teacher engagement
- Accessing onboarding tools, guidance, and continuous support

The ACM School Champion ensures that:
- Teachers feel supported and not left on their own
- Training and resources are clear and accessible
- Questions receive timely responses and solutions
- The ACM program runs smoothly throughout the year.
Training and Support
The ACM School Champion will receive access to a 90-minute teacher training, delivered through self-paced, on-demand videos that provide an in-depth understanding of the ACM methodology. A downloadable training journal reinforces learning, and a certificate of completion recognizes ACM School Champions as equipped leaders of implementation.
The ACM School Champion will also benefit from biweekly office hours, offering Live support and the chance to connect directly with the ACM team throughout rollout.
Expanding the Champion Role
Most schools designate one ACM School Champion, which is often enough to meet their needs. However, because confidence is a team sport, some schools choose to designate more.
Additional ACM School Champions can:
- Share responsibilities across a larger staff
- Serve as certified leaders to run PD for new or mid-year hires
- Maintain consistent communication with ACM, even during transitions
- Expand support and engagement for staff and students

Adding an ACM School Champion is $69 per additional Champion (includes access to training, a certificate upon completion, and direct support).
